Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2990 Stain Blocker Aerosol - 500ml

Fast-drying matt white aerosol coating that permanently isolates difficult stains before redecoration.

Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2990 Stain Blocker is a high-pigment renovation coating for sealing discolouration caused by nicotine, soot, tar, rust, moisture, graffiti and other persistent staining. Its strong opacity helps prevent marks bleeding through subsequent decoration and it may be left as a matt white finish or overcoated with standard wall paint.

• Non-yellowing
• Suitable for ceilings, plaster, cement, wood, concrete, wallpaper, existing paint and partition walls
• Can be used as a finish or recoated with standard wall paints
• Low-odour formulation
• Touch dry in approximately five minutes at 20°C
• Recoatable wet-on-wet or after approximately 30 minutes
• Fully cured after approximately 24 hours
• Theoretical coverage of approximately 2.1m² per 500ml aerosol at 30 microns dry film thickness

Application guidance

Ensure the surface is clean and dry and remove dirt, grease, oil, loose material and other contamination. Lightly abrade sound existing coatings. Apply several thin coats at short intervals rather than one heavy coat to build sufficient stain-blocking coverage without runs or sagging.
