Clear, non-yellowing protective topcoat for improving durability and restoring gloss.

Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2500 Transparent Topcoat forms a clear gloss finish that protects compatible metallic and fluorescent coatings without hiding their colour. It can also refresh faded coatings and provide a protective finish on metals including aluminium, brass, bronze, chrome and copper.

• Non-yellowing and UV resistant
• Adds durability to Rust-Oleum Hard Hat metallic and fluorescent finishes
• Suitable for restoring the gloss of faded existing coatings
• Can be applied directly to several non-ferrous metals
• Touch dry in approximately 15 minutes at 20°C
• Can be handled after approximately 30 minutes
• Fully cured after approximately three days
• Theoretical coverage of approximately 3.5m² per 500ml aerosol at 15 microns dry film thickness
• Heat resistant up to 100°C in dry conditions

Application guidance

Use for small maintenance and touch-up work in interior, normal-humidity and light industrial environments. Ensure the surface is clean and dry and remove oil, grease and contamination. Sound existing coatings should be lightly abraded before application. Apply several thin layers and allow at least one hour before recoating.
