Rust-Oleum 2100 Hard Hat 2189 RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey is a professional 500ml aerosol topcoat designed for small maintenance jobs, renovation and touch-up work. Its high-pigment formulation provides excellent hiding power while the flexible coating helps deliver a durable gloss finish on correctly prepared surfaces.

Suitable uses and surfaces

The versatile Anthracite Grey finish suits machinery, cabinets, enclosures, frames and fabricated steel used in industrial maintenance and refurbishment.

Suitable for correctly prepared bare metal, wood, concrete and previously painted surfaces. For metalwork, prime bare or spot-primed areas with Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2169 Red Brown Primer or 2182 Grey Primer as appropriate. Remove dirt, grease, oil, loose rust and other contamination before coating, then sand sound existing paint to provide a suitable key.

• Theoretical coverage: approximately 2.5m² per aerosol at 25µm dry film thickness
• Touch dry: approximately 15 minutes
• Dry to handle: approximately 30 minutes
• Recoat: within 1 hour or after 48 hours
• Fully cured: approximately 7 days

Shake thoroughly and hold the aerosol approximately 25cm from the surface. Apply several thin coats a few minutes apart while keeping the can moving to help prevent runs and sags. Use in light industrial exposures, normal humidity and suitable interior applications.
