Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2180 Galva Expresse Zinc-Rich Primer Aerosol - 500ml

Ultra-fast zinc-rich primer for protecting bare and galvanised steel in demanding maintenance and production environments.

Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2180 Galva Expresse combines pure zinc pigment with exceptionally rapid drying to deliver efficient corrosion protection with minimal downtime. It may be used as a protective primer or as a matt grey single-coat finish on new, bare and galvanised steel.

• Touch dry in approximately five minutes at 20°C
• Can be handled after approximately 10 minutes
• Resists up to 400 hours of salt spray testing
• Theoretical coverage of approximately 1.4m² per 500ml aerosol at 35 microns dry film thickness
• Heat resistant up to 350°C in dry conditions

Application guidance

Apply to clean, dry new steel, bare steel or galvanised steel after removing grease, oil, loose rust and other contamination. Galva Expresse is suitable for fast-moving construction, production and industrial maintenance work. Recoat within one hour or after 48 hours using a compatible non-saponifiable Rust-Oleum coating.
