Bright zinc-aluminium repair coating that protects damaged galvanising while closely matching its metallic appearance.

Rust-Oleum Hard Hat 2117 Galva Zinc-Alu combines zinc and aluminium pigments to provide cathodic corrosion protection with an attractive sparkling aluminium finish. It is ideal for visible repairs where both protection and appearance matter.

  • Resists up to 340 hours of salt spray testing
  • Touch dry in approximately 20 minutes at 20°C
  • Can be handled after approximately one hour
  • Theoretical coverage of approximately 1.2m² per 500ml aerosol at 35 microns dry film thickness
  • Heat resistant up to 450°C in dry conditions

Application guidance

Apply to clean, dry metal after removing grease, oil, loose rust and contamination. Galva Zinc-Alu is intended for single-coat maintenance and touch-up work in corrosive and high-humidity environments. Recoat within two hours or after 48 hours.
